Becky and Blogging?

I've decided Blogging is not for Becky. I always spend way more time reading everybody else's blog and thinking how cute and together they are and then get overwhelmed about typing two lines on mine. I usually put it away and decide to do it another day. So today you get about 10 entries.

Peter Loves Baby Einstein

If ever I need a babysitter for Peter you know to finish mopping the floor, make dinner, ....Blog?,... etc... (I know all you Moms know what I'm talking about) I can put on a baby einstein and he will sit nicely on the couch and watch. he even gets so excited when he knows I'm turning it on runs and jumps on the couch. Today he climbed up on the couch and turned to me at the kitchen table and pretty much asked me to put it on - well for a 16 month old which means pointing and saying "uh".
School Days

Our school has a Carnival every year. So we went. It was fun.- How's that for good writing?

No, we rode our bikes over Alyssa was super cute making sure she looked both ways everytime she crossed the street. The girls had fun going on the blow up toy rides, we all got a Sno Cone, and we rode our bikes home. We only wish Dad could have been there.

Friday Early Day?

You mean every Friday? I totally forgot that Friday is early day. So this past Friday, when Alyssa was dropped off after school nobody was home. I hade run over to Kaysville with my sister to see a house and lot she was looking at. on my way home at 11am I got a phone call saying where are you? Oh, suddenly my memory was working and I realized Alyssa gets out of school at 10:50 on Friday. No huge deal except the mother doing carpool really needed to use the facilities and Alyssa, for all of you who really know Alyssa, would absolutely not get back in the car. She wouldn't even talk to me on the phone. Anyway after 15 mins of trying to get Alyssa to "please get back in the car , your Mom will pick you up at our house" ing I arrived at home. Not only to find a little schoolgirl with a tear streaked face but also a door that was infact unlocked. I'm very luck however, that our door is difficult to open had Alyssa just walked in she may not have realized I wasn't home untill much later and her carpool had gone home. Anyway, Thanks again Emily.

"Putting Up" Peaches and Green beans

I love that term. this year I "put up" Peaches and Green beans. This is my first attempt at bottleing, besides freezer Jam, oh and I guess I have done apple pie filling but, I love putting food up there is such a feeling of accomplishment when you look at your shelves full of produce, so beautifully preserved.

Our Rock Station

We ran our last long run for our St. George training, 25miles on Saturday morning. It feels so good and exciting to be so close to that race. Feeling a little disappointed because I feel like in July and August my training wasn't as great as it could have been so I may not reach my original time goal. But I should do better than last time. Anyway, Ryan has been recording with the choir all week including Saturday, which left me home alone with the kids on after a 25 mile run. In an effort to keep the kids busy the rest of the day we rode down to what they call the "Rock Station" which is really just kind of a water ditch at the end of our neighborhood. They love it.

Oh yeah, and we went to Arches National Park

We took the Labor Day weekend to visit Arches National Park. We love Arches. It’s beautiful with perfect little hikes for our young family. We went with the Hansen family and the Capsolas Family. We were especially happy to have capsolases with us because last minute Sarah had to have oral surgery and so we thought they wouldn’t be coming but after our first hike Saturday morning they drove up to our campsite. What a trouper Sarah.
We had a great time. We hiked, hung out around the campfire, played in the sand, and enjoyed time with family.

Our favorite hike was probably Sand Dune Arch.

The girls played and played in the sand. This is what they called their "ant city". They were so proud. Do you blame them? It's pretty awesome.
You can view Janay's Blog for specifics. I wasn't kidding Janay.

Oh. I love all the pictures and little stories. Don't ever get stressed about your blog. I always just say the first thing that comes to mind and then I click post. I don't know if that's a good thing, but you should know...your blog is sweet. Love you!

Hooray for pictures. Pretty much that's the best part about blogs I think. I know, sometimes it takes longer than it should to put together a little post. It's good that I learned from MJ because I don't think she especially plans anything, she just puts some pictures and then writes whatever comes to her head like "I sang and people saw me" Easy. So that's pretty much what I do too. It's when I try learning how to do new things (collages) that it takes way too long to do a post.

I can't believe I didn't comment on your post -- but you know, I make my comments in person. But, it's not nearly as fun. Anyway, cool posts -- I totally love them and can just imagine how much fun Anna had at joy school. I love it when she has something cool to tell you about -- it's cute to hear her talking about things.

I love that you blogged about our fun day of missing you! I still feel bad at how sad she was, but thankfully things worked out the way that they did huh? Do you want to do any bottling for me, it look yummy!
