One of My favorite Things: Organized Spaces

There is nothing better than having someone old enough to read, so I could finish my project.... Ryan helped too. He really did the storage room. I moved food into it, and a few toys out, but he did the rest! Thanks Ryan, it feels good.

I wish I had before pictures, then you would really appreciate the joy I feel looking at these spaces in my home. I'm obviously really into the labels tied on with a ribbon. It's cute, easy, and I have the supplies.

We Made Gum as a part of Alyssa's Great Brain Project

It turned out really yummy! We rolled it out like snakes- Peter said, and then cut it into peices. Yae, homemade gum- kinda

I am Officially a Soccer Mom.

We will be living at the Soccer field for the next 5 weeks. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Nights you will find us at the soccer field for at least one hour. It's going to be so much fun. Anna and Alyssa are on different teams but they both have some kids from our neighborhood, which I'm happy for. They both have had their first practice which you see pictures for here. Mom was able to come to Anna's and that was fun to have her with us. And helpful. Tommorrow will be my first with all the kids by myself. Wish me luck!!! I think they'll have fun.

Fun with Food

I think this is my last post for today. See what happens when I get sick. Ryan had a fun time with the kids today creating hot dog spaghetti. they put the hard noodles through the hot dogs then boiled them and they came out looking super neat. Sorry no after pics.

Also for all of you who have not seen our new carpet and furniture arrangement you can kind of see it here although I have been sick for a few days so please, you know...

February Birthday Celebration

Do you see my ice cream cake creation. It looks a little funny, but I thought it was great. the kids and I had fun making it.

yet another situation where a good camera may have come in handy. It could have been so cute with the twin boys and Grandpa.

We sure missed Chelsea, and Tammy but we had a fun time.

We went to art night for Alyssa and Kindergarten roundup for Anna.

Such cute kids. Joshua was an angel. He hung out in the stoller so I could help the kids with their projects.

Anna's job, unloading the dishwasher.- we've acctually started some job charts which are working out beautifully for Anna. Alyssa, well we're not quite sure what motivates her. We'll keep trying.

Alyssa vacuums for the first time- and last. Our new carpet is much harder to vacuum.

Anna folds her own laundry and does a great job (sorry about the underwear photo).

Oh so big, man it's nice to have help. Even if it seems to take a little longer. It will not always be that way I'm sure.

As I've been posting I too have been coveting the beautiful cameras of so many. It makes such a difference.

Being Constuctive with my downtime. Why not blog about my super great family.

I do not do this enough. Look at the organization. I couldn't get the pictures to go where I wanted them with out spending 2 hours. Good enough. A few quick details!!

The shrinking machines did not work. So the new plan is to catch a fairy and then the fairy can shrink the girls. They are so excited. each day the girls would put these houses out on the porch to catch their fairies. Each one has a sign that reads Fairies allowed. So the fairies know they can come in, of course. When a few days past and no fairies had been found. The girls determined that the fairies were nocturnal (Their words) and they would need to put the houses out at night. We still have yet to find the fairies or to shrink but the hope is still alive in our sweet little girls. Oh the excitement they find in just imagining what it will be like to be small.

Alyssa at her Gymnastics show. This is about all she did. She got nervous because she wasn't with her teacher and we went home. Anna was our photographer for this event.

Art time with Dad. Anna and Alyssa have been crazy about shrinking latley. They love fairies, they want to fly. When we watched "Honey, I shrunk the kids", they clarified many times that they don't want to be that small. Just the size of Polly Pockets. Here they are designing their shrinking machines with Ryan.
