Yesterday was one of my favorite Saturdays. We were super busy the whole day but we were able to accomplish everything we wanted to do. How often does that happen? I usually find myself hoping that I can get much more done than I acctually can.We bagan the day with the Syracuse Turkey Trot and 5k run. We put Alyssa and Anna in our bike stroller and borrowed a single jogger from some friends and we were off. Acctually we put the kids in the stollers then about 30-45 mins later we were off so Anna and Alyssa were ready to get out by the time the race started. We planned to run together but everytime I ran by them Anna just cried to have me get her out so I ran up ahead. Peter did great and fell asleep. Anyway, crying or no crying it was a fun way to start the day.
Next I wanted to run over to a boutique that was going on at Jensen park so we drove over there. I ran in while Ryan stayed in the car and chatted with a friend.
Then it was home to shower and get ready for Weber States football game. The tickets were half price and the weather was awesome so we thought we'd take advantage. Peter took a quick nap, the girls watched a movie while Ryan and I got ready. We took some snacks and hiked up the hill by the Lind lecture to the game. We left just after half time becuase we had a few more activities planned.
We needed to go to Costco for just the basic items. bread, milk, baby wipes, etc... and since it's in Ogden while you're there you have to stop. We ran into Evelyn Harris- for those of you who know here- which was nice then we quickly got our things and were on our way home.
Next Ryan was off to the Hansens for the BYU U vs U game and I was geeting ready to put up my Christmas decorations with my Mom and Janay. We had a lovely time visiting while the Men were occupied by the game and I got some of my decorating done.
After the game we had an enjoyable evening with our dear friends Clark and Shannon just laughing, playing games, and enjoying one anothers company. Now who could ask for a better Saturday?

I love days like that! I would definitely call that a "good mom day"...I have them every once in a while and then I think of you...and then I just giggle! :)
