Happy 24th Sad 27th

We enjoyed a wonderful 24th of July weekend. First, Salt Lake to the Parade which one hour of hot sun sitting is enough for group of 8 little kids. So everybody drove up here to Syracuse for a quick little lunch and more cousin play time. Then our family got together with the Wilsons. A fun time is always had hanging out with them. Alyssa and Anna were super excited to show Monet their new tricks in the swimming pool (Shannons sister's pool) and Ryan was even able to meet us and swim for a little while. we came home made pizza, lit sparklers, and played our traditional hand of Rook- Ryan and I are still winning in our ongoing tally.

Saturday we celebrated Gordons 60th Birthday. We made a happy birthday banner, had balloons, water and regular, swimming for the kids- entertainment for the adults- the kids swimming I mean, and a birthday cake that turned our mouths black.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!

Then our sad 27th. There's nothing worse than seeing your child hurt. Especially when it's your fault. Monday after mowing the lawn, I didn't put the lawnmower away as soon as I was finished (as I normally would) and of course Peter put his hand right on the mower. hot, hot, hot. Poor little boy. this picture was taken Thursday- it's looking pretty good.
